never been a more versatile, easy-to-use system for creating
perfect dovetails! The 7/16'' Katie Dovetail Jig Kit is unique
in that it cuts variable-spaced dovetails in material from 3/8''
to 3/4'' thick without the need to do test cuts each time it
is used. The kit includes a pre-assembled fixture with two backing
boards; five 7/16'' dovetail guide/tuning forks, six 1'' spacers;
two edge stop assemblies; one carbide dovetail bit and pattern
bit; and an Allen wrench. Handles (sold separately) are available
when using on a router table. For small projects, such as jewelry
boxes, the Katie Jig Jr. is ideal. It creates crisp through
dovetails in material from 1/8'' to 1/2'' thick. The Katie Jig
Jr. comes with one CMT solid carbide 11/32'' x 1/2'' x 7º
dovetail bit and one CMT 5/8'' x 1/2'' flush trim bit. It also
comes standard with handles for router table applications. Both
the 7/16'' Katie Dovetail Jig Kit and Katie Jig Jr. are the
only jigs on the market to cut both tails and pins in one clamping
operation!
